Highly Skilled Java Developer with SWIFT Expertise Wanted

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with SWIFT experience to join our team in Zürich, working closely with our client’s Global Messaging and Screening department within Group Technology.

This role will involve working on in-house built products such as a message broker and market gateways, connecting to global markets worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, plan, and deliver sustainable solutions using Java and the related ecosystem.
  2. Collaborate with the customer and teams in other locations on a daily basis.
  3. Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing requirements and initiatives to support and enhance existing applications.
  4. Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC.
  5. Support the production users and investigate issues in production when contacted by L2 support team.

Requirements

  1. 5+ year of Java development experience.
  2. Hands-on SWIFT Financial Messaging experience (MT, MX, ISO, etc.).
  3. Knowledge of: Spring (Boot, Cloud, Security, REST), Microservice architectural pattern, Cloud, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Maven/Gradle, GIT.
  4. Knowledge about IBM MQ is a significant advantage.
  5. Experience with AMH (Alliance Messaging Hub) is a significant advantage.
  6. Proficient communication skills in English is must, German language skills are significant advantage.
