As the Engineering Manager for our Turbine Rotor and Generator products and processes, you will play a pivotal role in driving manufacturing excellence, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products, and meeting stringent regulatory standards. Your expertise in rotor and generator design and manufacturing processes will enable you to effectively lead the manufacturing engineering team and make informed decisions to optimize production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures to achieve high-quality products.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and capital expenditures for rotor and generator projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses for new developments and process optimizations.
- Maintain open communication channels with employees, customers, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience with expertise in rotor and generator design and manufacturing.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is highly valued.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in multiple languages, including German and English.
