Your expertise will help drive innovation in beam instrumentation and plasma wakefield acceleration.
Job Requirements- PhD or equivalent relevant experience in applied physics or engineering.
- Expertise in particle interaction with matter, general beam instrumentation methodologies, and associated control/DAQ systems.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments and basic knowledge of accelerator physics.
You will coordinate all Beam Instrumentation activities within the group and serve as the BI coordinator for the AWAKE collaboration during Run 2. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all Beam Instrumentation systems are operational, contributing to the design and implementation of new beam imaging systems, leading R&D studies, and supervising students.
