Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team in Microbiological Quality Control.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine laboratory sampling and testing, completing documentation to company standards, and ensuring all work aligns with departmental procedures and cGMP.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological testing and analysis to support the manufacture of biologics as a contract development and manufacturing organization.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation to meet company standards.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and departmental procedures.
- Communicate effectively with site colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement health and safety procedures to prevent personal and team risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent experience as a laboratory technician.
- Proven experience in a regulated laboratory environment, preferably in microbiology or a related field.
- GMP training is recommended but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Desirable Skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet critical timelines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all operational levels.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
