Job Description:
As a Software Development Lead at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled software developers in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet our stringent standards. Your expertise in C and/or ADA programming, software architecture, and design methodologies will be crucial in ensuring the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all software development activities within the Airborne Software Team
- Oversee development and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with standards and processes
- Define tasks, provide feedback, and mentor software developers to facilitate goal accomplishment
- Manage interfaces within and external to the organization
Required Skills and Qualifications:
What We're Looking For:
- Extensive knowledge of C and/or ADA programming, software architecture, and design methodologies
- Experience with application of DO-178 and associated standards (e.g., DO-330, DO-331)
- Knowledge of version control (Git), task management (JIRA), and requirement management (DOORS) practices
- Fluent English (C1) required; German knowledge is a plus
