Mechatronics Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechatronics Specialist to join our team at CERN. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and improving the supply processes of crystal wafers and strips from external and internal suppliers, validating the crystals using x-ray diffractometry, and ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience with high precision mechatronic systems, ability to use advanced measurement techniques, and expertise in optical measurement systems. You will work closely with our experts to formulate project specifications using crystal properties, manage crystal supply chains, and ensure the quality of our research equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage crystal supply chains from suppliers

Eligibility Criteria

- Be a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Have a professional background in Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering (or a related field)
- Meet the required education and experience qualifications
