Main Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Manage the overall project, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.
  • Client Representation: Represent the company towards the client, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
  • Project Planning: Plan the execution of the project, aligning with defined timing and budget constraints.
  • Resource Allocation: Estimate and allocate the necessary resources to achieve project goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with project team components, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor the overall work progress, identifying and addressing potential delays.
  • Cost Control: Control costs, preventing budget overruns and ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Task Delegation: Delegate tasks and responsibilities to project team components, promoting a culture of accountability.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Best Practices: Develop and implement best practices and tools for project execution and management, driving continuous improvement.
  • Budgeting: Draft and submit budget proposals, recommending subsequent budget changes as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: University Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Language: Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Software Knowledge: Proficiency in project management tools and software, with a strong command of the MS Office environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project). Optional: Familiarity with Primavera or similar software for project planning and scheduling would be advantageous.
  • Skills: Experience in managing EPC projects, very fluent written and spoken English, good team-player, ability to build relationships inside and outside the company, self-motivated with strong organizing skills, demonstrated management, administrative, supervisory and leadership skills, availability and willingness to travel.
  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years work experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry in the same position.
