Training Coordinator Small-/Midscale Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Coordinator Small-/Midscale Manufacturing to join our team at Lonza. As a key member of our Development Services & Small-/Mid-Scale Operations team, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating training programs to ensure the compliance, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement of our production operations under GMP.
Key Responsibilities- Training Needs Assessment: Identify and assess the training needs of our organization and individual employees to ensure relevant and effective training.
- Comprehensive Training Design: Design and implement detailed training programs for our Small-/Midscale production plants (Small Molecules Visp) that emphasize safety and quality standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all training materials and methods comply with current GMP guidelines and regulations.
- Training Effectiveness Evaluation: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and performance metrics.
- Training Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all training activities, participant progress, and compliance documentation.
- Training Material Updates: Continuously review and update training materials to reflect the latest safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in training processes and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with safety, quality assurance, production management, and others to align training with organizational goals and compliance needs.
- Ongoing Support and Guidance: Provide continuous support to production staff to help them understand and implement safety and quality requirements effectively.
- Audit and Inspection Participation: Participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure training effectiveness and adherence to GMP and safety standards.
- Creative and Organized Individual: Must be a creative, well-organized, dependable individual with high social competence and a passion for training.
- Adult Education Experience: Proven experience in adult education or the training sector is required.
- Language Skills: Must have fluent German and English skills.
- cGMP Knowledge: Must have knowledge of cGMP regulations and standards for pharmaceutical operations and application to training.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information, instructions, and feedback to trainees.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with people at all levels and high empathy to understand the diverse needs of different stakeholders as well as learning paces of trainees.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Problem-solving skills to quickly identify and address compliance issues and training gaps.
- Assessment and Evaluation Skills: Assessment and evaluation skills to measure training effectiveness and provide constructive feedback.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust training methods based on regulatory updates and specific audience needs.
- Organizational Skills: Organizational skills to efficiently manage training schedules, documentation, and compliance records.
- Technical Proficiency: Technical proficiency with strong computer skills (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) and familiarity with training software, Cornerstone knowledge is an advantage.
- Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work in a team environment as well as able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Process Engineering and Operation Excellence Experience: Knowledge in process engineering and Operation Excellence experience are advantageous.
