Role: Procurement Manager

Background:

The procurement organization is undergoing a transformation, seeking a temporary Procurement Manager to ensure supply continuity and support Professional Services Procurement in a pragmatic, execution-oriented way. The focus is on fulfilling business requests efficiently while maintaining procurement governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute the RFx process to identify the optimal solution and maximize value.
• Support contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and risk management practices.
• Conduct supplier analysis, market research, and sourcing projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value creation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Procurement, with a focus on Professional Services (e.g., consulting, contracting, IT project services).
• Proven track record in strategic and tactical procurement.
• Strong background in running RFx processes and contract negotiations.
• Ability to drive stakeholder alignment and make decisive calls to ensure procurement compliance.
• Experience managing supplier dependencies, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation measures.
• Effective communicator and negotiator.
• Proficiency in procurement systems (SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts) and data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Execution-Oriented Mindset: Ability to overcome uncertainties, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in high-pressure environments.
