As we continue to expand our online presence, we seek a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer to spearhead the development of our digital infrastructure.

Job Description

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, testing, and operating our frontend applications. Your expertise in TypeScript/Vue/Nuxt will ensure seamless integration with our Ruby on Rails backend framework. You will work closely with the team to implement scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet both technical and consumer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the architecture and technical infrastructure for our frontend applications.
  • Leveraging best-in-class engineering practices including Continuous Integration and Deployment, Code reviews, and high test coverage.
  • Collaborating with other engineers to evolve the system architecture and improve performance.
  • Delivering value through your solutions that meet both technical and consumer requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer with a strong background in addressing performance and scaling issues for high-traffic brands. Your skills should include:
  • 7 years of Frontend experience building and operating scalable systems in production.
  • Demonstrable experience in web application development with expertise in Node.js.
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks, such as Vue, React, or Angular.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps principles.
  • Expertise with GraphQL, including Gateway and frameworks such as Apollo federation.
  • Exposure to automated testing, A/B testing, and performance debugging tools.
  • Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • You are comfortable using containerized workloads, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and embrace the DevOps mindset.
  • E-commerce background is preferred, and experience with high-performance retail or e-commerce platforms, as well as content management systems (like Contentful), is a plus.
