About the CompanyOur company offers a wide range of world-class insurance and reinsurance services to brokers and insureds in all major markets.
As a Cyber Risk Underwriter, you will be responsible for supporting the development of the annual business plan for the Underwriting division and ensuring delivery of the plan in accordance with stated risk tolerances.
This role involves establishing and strengthening relationships with brokers, industry bodies, business partners, reinsurers and colleagues to maximise influence and achieve business objectives.
You will also be responsible for underwriting insurance risks in accordance with the business plan and personal authority to meet business objectives, including negotiating rates, terms and conditions for existing and new business.
Key Requirements- Bachelor's or master's degree from a university or college, or a comparable education or training.
- Professional experience in underwriting or claims management in the field of Financial Lines and preferably in Cyber Security.
- Ability to analyse and use data for decision-making.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Team player personality.
- High customer orientation and willingness to go the extra mile, as well as understanding of the different perspectives of all contractual partners.
- Fluent German, English and Italian language skills, knowledge of French is advantageous.
