Technical Support Specialist for Advanced Mass Spectrometry Systems

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Ionplus AG. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site customer support for our customers worldwide
  • Coordinate and manage tickets and reaction times according to SLA requirements
  • Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 30% travel may be required)
  • Commission and accept AMS instruments and peripherals worldwide in collaboration with other departments
  • Plan and conduct customer trainings on AMS instruments and peripherals
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, manuals, and test reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics, chemistry, engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience with scientific instrumentation, preferably mass spectrometry
  • Experience in GxP environments with instrument qualifications is an advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Very good English skills, German skills are considered an advantage
