Animal Care Specialist

OverviewThe Experimental Animal Center (EAC) at the University of Bern is responsible for in-vivo research. Our multispecies, decentralized animal facilities provide state-of-the-art use and care of animal programs.

We are seeking an outstanding Laboratory Animal Veterinarian to oversee breeding facility operations, including genetically modified mice requirements, import, and cryobiology processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for veterinary medical care, preventive medicine programs, and regulatory compliance with university guidelines and Swiss regulations.
