Job Role: Expert Cloud Engineer

Audemars Piguet is seeking a highly skilled Expert Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Cloud Architecture Design: Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Cloud Strategy Development: Participate in defining and implementing cloud strategies that support business goals, including migration plans, cost optimization, and governance frameworks.
  • Solution Development: Create scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Collaboration: Work with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance metrics for cloud applications and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement robust security practices and compliance controls to protect data and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and trends, and recommend innovative solutions to improve our cloud environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, standards, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a cloud engineer or similar role.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders in both English and French.
  • Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals is a must, with certification a plus.
  • Client-centric attitude.
