Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our global analytics team in Geneva, Switzerland. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our Master Data platform, unifying all our applications and integrating them with a common set of entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop a new Master Data platform, integrating disparate systems and entities.
- Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with a global development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Implement clean, well-documented, tested, and extensible code to satisfy business requirements.
- Provide business applications support and training to users on day-to-day issues.
- Work on diverse projects, including Geographic Information System (GIS) based systems and data ingestion and distribution.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working with C# and related.NET technologies within global enterprise solutions.
- Experience with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Experience working in an agile scrum development model.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive interactions with project stakeholders.
- Proactive and user-focused, with a can-do attitude and a genuine interest in the functional and technical aspects of each challenge encountered.
- Drives software development best practices.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Excellent English oral and written skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in GraphQL or gRPC.
- Experience in Reactive Extensions (RX).
- Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry.
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent field.
- French language skills an advantage.
