Caregiving Assistant

At United Methodist Homes, a leading senior living organization with 140 years of experience in relationship-centered care, we are currently seeking a skilled Caregiving Assistant to join our team on the Bishop Wicke campus in Shelton, Connecticut. This part-time position requires working every other weekend and one day during the week, as well as every other holiday rotation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Effective communication with staff, residents, family members, and visitors.
• Routine internal cleaning tasks completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Demonstrating dependability in job performance to contribute to the department's effectiveness.

• Collaboration with all staff to maintain the safety and security of residents, visitors, and staff.

To qualify for this role, candidates must:

• Have at least one year of experience as a housekeeping attendant.
• Display satisfactory work performance.
• Not have any disciplinary actions within the past year.
• Meet all in-service requirements.
• Be able to facilitate organizational change.

We offer a competitive salary range for this position, estimated to be around $25,000 - $35,000 per year, based on location and experience. This figure is an estimate and may vary depending on individual circumstances. We do not disclose actual salaries or discuss compensation details publicly.
