About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Developer to join our team in Zurich. This is a permanent position based in our office within a leading Systematic Hedge Fund environment that thrives on collaboration and innovation.

In this role, you will work directly on the trading desk, ensuring your contributions have immediate impact. You will collaborate closely with both Quant Researchers and Traders as an essential member of the Technology Team, engaging with multifaceted aspects of algorithmic trading such as ultra-low-latency engines, large-scale data platforms, and cloud computing analytics infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly on the trading desk to ensure immediate impact from your contributions
  • Collaborate closely with Quant Researchers and Traders as an essential member of the Technology Team
  • Engage with algorithmic trading aspects such as ultra-low-latency engines, large-scale data platforms, and cloud computing analytics infrastructure

Requirements

  • Proficiency in modern C++ and understanding of core principles behind CPU operations, memory management, OS functionalities, and networking
  • Eagerness for full project ownership from ideation to delivery
  • Strong communication skills suited for dynamic settings

Desirable Experience

  • Python proficiency beneficial due to its widespread use across various tech stacks
  • A minimum of two years' background working within quantitative or systematic investing domain adds significant value
