About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a top-tier consulting firm and contribute to the success of our clients across various industries. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on data governance strategies, policies, and procedures. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our clients' data assets are well-managed, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. You will work closely with our clients to assess their current data governance maturity and identify areas for improvement.
  2. You will develop and implement tailored data governance plans, including data quality, security, and compliance initiatives.
  3. You will provide training and support to client stakeholders on data governance best practices and procedures.
  4. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data governance into client operations.
  5. You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying your knowledge to drive innovation and growth.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required; a master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
