About the Research GroupOur research group performs research at the interface of material's science, corrosion science, and engineering. Our mission is to deliver the scientific basis needed to ensure safety, durability, and sustainability of our civil infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct experimental characterisation of microstructure and moisture transport properties of carbonated and non-carbonated cementitious materials
- Collaborate with numerical modelers to develop and validate moisture transport models
- Analyse and interpret experimental data to inform model development and validation
The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials science and a keen interest in corrosion science. Prior experience in corrosion is not necessary, but candidates are expected to show interest in this field.
