Job Description

ONE Agency | IT Recruitment Experts is seeking a skilled Java/JEE Software Engineer to join our team in a challenging and dynamic environment. As a key member of our Document Management System (DMS) team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Java EE applications, designing software architectures, and implementing automated tests and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the core system for document archiving in an enterprise environment.
  • Design and implement high-quality Java EE applications, software designs, and architecture concepts.
  • Build and maintain automated tests, and conduct code reviews.
  • Implement features and design new components for our core system in a Scrum team environment.
  • As a DevOps and Scrum team member, you will be responsible for software development from conception to operation.

Requirements:

  • A solid education in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development with Java, and proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: Java, JEE, Event- and Workflow-Driven, Docker, Kubernetes, REST-Schnittstellen.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies, and a willingness to share knowledge with others.
  • Experience with software design patterns and best practices.
  • A strong focus on software quality, with a commitment to writing high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges.
