Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for our client in the financial services industry in Zürich. As a key member of the Facilities Management team, you will oversee building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Schedule and Manage Daily Activities: Coordinate the daily tasks of your team, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain Positive Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues, and provide solutions to maintain their satisfaction.
- Coordinate Facility Repairs and Maintenance: Collaborate with technicians, vendors, and contractors to manage facility repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
- Prepare Capital Projects and Budgets: Develop and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
- Conduct Facility Inspections and Quality Assurance: Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Manage Environmental Health and Safety Procedures: Oversee environmental health and safety procedures for facilities, ensuring a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
- Oversight of Vendor Relationships: Establish and manage vendor relationships, review price quotes, and procure necessary parts, services, and labor for projects.
- Training and Development: Provide process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices to team members.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and influence parties to reach agreements.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may arise.
