The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic partnerships with corporate sector organizations to drive impact and raise quality, flexible resources for UNICEF's programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic partnerships with corporate sector organizations to drive impact and raise quality, flexible resources for UNICEF's programs.
- Work closely with priority Regional Offices, National Committees, and Country Offices to ensure best-in-class new business development strategies are in place to grow income from the corporate sector.
- Support markets to help achieve and exceed their new business income targets, identifying any challenges and proactively exploring solutions.
- Provide strategic advice on new partnerships to ensure UNICEF raises quality, flexible resources while also meeting the needs of corporate partners.
- Manage staff and/or consultants in the new business team for maximum results.
Requirements:
- Advanced university degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of professional work experience in fundraising or marketing, commercial or non-commercial partnerships development or management, with a minimum of two years in an international context.
- Good commercial awareness and proven business acumen.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- At least two years of experience in managing staff.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and excellent writing skills.
