About the Job

We are looking for a talented Biomedical Data Scientist to join our team at Senbiosys. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing algorithms for correlating PPG signals with reference health parameters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing a large-scale medical database to correlate PPG signals with heart rate variability, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure.
  • Collaborating with leading academic partners and medical institutions on joint projects.
  • Benchmarking our sensor against industry standards using statistical approaches and protocols.
  • Designing and implementing AI schemes to refine and enhance the correlation between PPG signal properties and reference health parameters.
  • Working closely with our embedded software engineering team to integrate your solutions.

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven understanding of biomedical signal processing, particularly for PPG signals.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts.
  • Good programming skills in C would be an asset.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Euroean citizenship or work permit in Switzerland.
