Job Overview

The Senior Project Manager at SHL Medical is responsible for the successful execution of technical projects in time, cost, and quality. This role involves managing cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements, deadlines, schedules, and budget are met within set goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, and major milestones in alignment with sponsor and internal program managers.
  • Manage tasks and resources of complex projects with multiple sub-projects and forecast resource needs to reach objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects and delegate responsibilities to sub-project leads.
  • Create meeting structures, communication processes, and regular reporting on budget, milestones, risks, and progress.
  • Analyze and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs and address claims resulting from changes.
  • Perform risk management and define mitigations to minimize project risks and escalate identified risks early.
  • Organize project team meetings to discuss project status, technical progress, and coordinate tasks and resources.
  • Follow global PM process with respect to harmonized global PM practices, methods, and tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in project management of product development projects in regulated environments.
  • Profound knowledge of project management processes, methodologies, and tools & techniques.
  • Ability to create comprehensive reports on timeline, budget, and quality status.
  • Advanced problem-solving and risk management skills.
  • Ability to lead people to work together as a team to reach common goals.
