Instrumentation Specialist

EPM Scientific - Phaidon International is seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Commissioning Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the commissioning and qualification of utility and HVAC systems installed at the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide I&C field support for the commissioning and qualification of utility and process systems monitored and controlled by the DeltaV DCS.
  • Review and support execution of Hot Loop Test protocols, including Wago remote IO interface and communication testing, Emerson CIOC remote IO panels, and field instrumentation.
  • Support the commissioning of Modbus networks to variable speed drives, Wago Remote IO Controllers, and package units.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering (Electrical/Instrumentation/Process Control) or related field.
  • 5-10 years of industrial commissioning experience with Electrical and Instrument systems, with 3 years Utility system commissioning experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of the I&C Commissioning team.
