You will be working in a dynamic and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain advanced pricing models. You will collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to optimize pricing strategies and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging risks.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop pricing tools for testing purposes
- Define specifications of pricing models for implementation in underwriting IT systems
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to underwriting and/or senior management based on pricing analyses
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to support business objectives and optimize pricing strategies
- Optimize pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Your Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics)
- Professional actuarial designation is highly preferred
- Relevant experience in insurance/reinsurance pricing or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex data
- Strong communication skills and high customer orientation
- Good level of proficiency with tools like SAS, R, Python, SQL Server, MS Office VBA
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team
- Fluent in English and German, proficiency in additional languages is a plus
