The successful candidate will collaborate with the space weather group members to optimize various codes on the university's HPC system Ubelix, improving their stability and speed. Depending on the candidate's research focus, this may also include the optimization of the local server setup and computing environment, as well as collaboration on proposals.
Job DescriptionAs a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be responsible for researching and developing efficient algorithms for CPU and GPU calculations, working closely with the space weather group to achieve optimal results. You will also contribute to the development of new codes and the optimization of existing ones, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and efficiency.
