About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve working closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop and implement project plans, manage budgets and resources, and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets and highlight any risks, challenges, and mitigations.
- Support the long-term development of the function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.
- Commit to making a positive impact for our people, our clients, and our planet, and take ownership for holding others to account who do not uphold the Mace values.
- Manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
- Lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilizing the full depth of knowledge of Mace Group, the Centres of Excellence, Mace Way Control Centre, and Knowledge Hub.
Requirements
- Right to work in Switzerland.
- Reside in Switzerland.
- Background working on Transportation projects in Project Management.
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Substantial experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the infrastructure sector.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
- Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
