Transport Manager/Dispatcher

In this diverse role, you will be directly responsible to the Depot Manager Graubünden. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Disciplinary and professional leadership, including personnel development of 9 drivers (cross-departmental)
• Tour planning for locations Chur, Davos, and Arosa, taking into account optimal, efficient, and cost-effective vehicle utilization
• Creation of transport orders for operational planning
• Disposition of customer orders
• Creation and control of delivery documents and route plans
• Ensuring timely delivery
• Data maintenance in the ERP system (SAP)
• Ensuring compliance with driver rest and driving time regulations, as well as responsibility for ARV (statutory parameters)
• Responsibility for service levels at deliveries, as well as ongoing optimization of customer deliveries
• Daily communication with colleagues in the event of disruptions, defects, or other deviations in connection with a smooth daily business

We expect the following qualifications:

• Training as a Road Transport Specialist EFZ and possibly further training as a Transport Dispatcher and Logistics with FA
• Several years of experience as a transport dispatcher or logistics specialist, preferably in the beverage industry
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, as well as high quality standards
• Self-motivated, reliable, team-oriented, and good organizational skills
• Good geographical knowledge of the GR region and Rhine Valley
• Good language skills in German and English, Italian an asset
