Analytical Expert Leader for Crop Protection Solutions

Job OverviewWe are seeking an Analytical Expert Leader to oversee the development, transfer, maintenance, and implementation of analytical methods across our global manufacturing network. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and ability to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Manage analytical technology by defining strategies for method transfer, development, and maintenance; managing laboratory qualifications; and standardizing best practices across laboratories.
- Provide technical support for expansion and continuous improvement projects, and evaluate and introduce new analytical technologies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Facilitate data-based decision-making across the global network and conduct technical reviews of QC lab capital projects.
- Lead the development and validation of global ACL methods, manage the ACL method database, and oversee implementation at manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Participate in contamination prevention audits as assigned, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Masters degree or higher in analytical chemistry or organic chemistry; Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in method development and validation for crop protection product manufacturing.
- Strong background in safety leadership and laboratory safety management.
- Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and a results-oriented approach to leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English, and the ability to conduct training sessions effectively.
The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
LocationThis position is based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, but may require travel to other locations within the region. The company covers all relocation expenses for successful candidates.
