The role of the Audit Manager I is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of expertise in risk management and internal audit. As an intermediate-level professional, you will be responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi's risk and control environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans to ensure the firm meets audit standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to determine impact on overall control environment and audit approach.
- Manage audit activities for a component of a product line, function, or legal entity at the regional or country level.
- Leverage expertise to manage a team and advise the business on change initiatives.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred.
- Effective comprehension of business side of audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology application.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MSc or equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or other relevant quantitative science.
- Specific subject matter expertise regarding control disciplines and a solid understanding of Model Risk Management concepts and model life cycle.
