We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer specialized in Azure Databricks to support the implementation of a data lakehouse solution.
As a member of our team, you will collaborate with data architects, analysts, and engineers to design, build, and deploy scalable and efficient data processing frameworks to enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities within Umanova SA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and optimize data ingestion pipelines using Azure Databricks
- Develop scalable and reliable data transformation and processing solutions
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams to align data strategies and architecture
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security within the data lakehouse
- Provide guidance on best practices for data management within Azure environments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Azure Databricks
- Solid expertise in building data lakehouse architectures
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and related Azure cloud services
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, and Spark
- Excellent understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices
