Clinical Project Physician

The Clinical Project Physician (CPP) is a key member of the Viatris team, responsible for providing medical leadership and oversight on clinical development projects. This role requires a strong understanding of the science, medicine, and product environment related to a disease area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical leadership and guidance on clinical development projects from concept generation to design, implementation, execution, and submission/approval.
- Represent the medical lead for assigned projects in the life cycle teams and provide medical input to strategic decisions.
- Contribute to global strategic development and provide evidence-based input to clinical project-related documents.
- Deliver the medical components of the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) and oversee its implementation.
- Ensure project objectives and deliverables are met in line with clinical development goals.
- Provide medical input to project-related communication and publication plans.
- Support the assessment of new in-licensing opportunities and provide medical leadership externally based on thorough scientific review.
- Lead medical aspects of clinical advisory boards and study-specific committees.
- Qualified MD with extensive experience in clinical research in a CRO or Pharmaceutical Company.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing clinical projects from a medical perspective.
- Clinical research experience in the relevant indication is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of drug development and regulatory requirements/ICH guidelines.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment.
- Strategic thinking and hands-on approach.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
