About the RoleWe are seeking a talented Cancer Research Scientist to join our Discovery Research Units within the Oncology Discovery organization. This role will focus on the discovery and development of novel cancer therapeutics through innovative research projects.
You will design and lead cutting-edge research projects focused on target discovery and validation in cancer biology. Apply cutting-edge functional genomic approaches, including CRISPR-based screening, to identify and characterize novel therapeutic targets.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in at least one key disease area, such as colorectal cancer, lung cancer, or breast cancer. Proven expertise in functional genomics, particularly CRISPR/Cas9-based screening techniques and hands-on experience with 3D organoid culture systems and their application in disease modelling is essential.
- Strong proficiency in analysing genomic, transcriptomic data using bioinformatics tools
- Advanced Flow Cytometry & Cell Sorting skill: Proficiency in multi-color flow cytometry, including spectral flow and FACS-based cell isolation
- Experience in cell-based assays for target validation (e.g., live-cell imaging, proliferation, apoptosis, migration, and invasion assays)
