Cellular Neuroscience Specialist

As a Cellular Neuroscience Specialist, you will play a key role in our Neurogenomics research section. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a deep knowledge and experience in Neuropathology to lead a lab focused on understanding and quantifying neurodegenerative disease pathology in animal models and human post-mortem tissues and biofluids.
About the TeamOur team works closely with other sections and groups within our therapeutic area, as well as laboratories within our Data & Analytics group and external partners.
- You will lead an effective team to understand pathology of neurodegenerative diseases at the cellular level by performing quantitative histopathology, spatial omics, and related experiments.
- You will bring deep scientific expertise about the pathology-relevant microenvironment during the neurodegenerative process as a key contributor to multiple projects.
Your Qualifications
- You hold a PhD or MD/PhD in neuroscience or cellular biology with minimum 5 years of experience in Neuropathology.
- You are a rigorous scientist with a deep understanding and practical experience in cellular neuroscience, including major neural cell type histology in preclinical disease rodent/larger mammal models and post-mortem patient samples.
