Cloud Engineer for Banking Sector

Job Description:

Our client in the Banking sector is seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead the onboarding of applications to the Cloud Native Stack for enhanced scalability and efficiency.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Leading the onboarding of applications to the Cloud Native Stack for enhanced scalability and efficiency
  • Guiding teams in adopting common platforms, including observability and testing frameworks
  • Driving standardization and automation initiatives
  • Contributing to the future software solutions strategy within the Markets division
  • Supporting the maintenance and improvement of shared platforms
  • Fostering a collaborative engineering culture while implementing best practices for global critical systems

About You:

We are looking for a team player with strong experience in Java, .NET, Scala, Python, and JavaScript front-end development with deep architectural expertise. Proficiency in Kubernetes, distributed architectures, and low-latency systems on Azure Application Platform, especially AKS, is required. Experience with CI/CD skills using Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, Octopus Deploy, Maven, and .NET is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java, .NET, Scala, Python, and JavaScript front-end development with deep architectural expertise
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, distributed architectures, and low-latency systems on Azure Application Platform, especially AKS
  • Extensive CI/CD skills using Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, Octopus Deploy, Maven, and .NET
  • Knowledge of communication stacks like RabbitMQ, Kafka, GRPC, and WebSockets, along with observability tools such as Grafana and ElasticSearch
  • Familiarity with security protocols, including OAuth 2.0, TLS, and vulnerability scanning, as well as scripting in Bash and PowerShell
  • Language skills: English
