About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at Randstad (Schweiz) AG. As a Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and onboarding new products with high-profit potential.
Main Responsibilities- Product Identification and Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and select new products considering market trends, customer demand, and profitability.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless product integration.
- Product Performance Analysis: Develop and maintain product scorecards that assess items based on various performance metrics, including sales, customer reviews, return rates, and compliance with quality standards.
- Catalogue Management: Regularly review and update the online catalogue to ensure product information is accurate, complete, and optimized for search and conversion.
- Product Content Management: Manage product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and efficient supply chain.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, buying, or catalogue management within an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, excellent communication and negotiation skills, detail-oriented with a keen eye for product trends and customer preferences, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
