Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

About the Role:
Smarttech247, a leading Managed Detection & Response (MDR) company, is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Threat Research Analyst to join our expanding CTI team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our clients, including a global pharmaceutical company, to analyze complex threats and provide actionable intelligence to our security team and senior decision makers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of malware and other cyber threats.
- Monitor and evaluate threat intelligence from various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web, and proprietary data.
- Support threat research efforts and operational threat reports production.
- Participate in threat hunting activities to proactively identify and neutralize potential threats.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in threat research, threat intelligence, or a related cybersecurity role.
- Strong understanding of cyber threat landscape, including malware, phishing, ransomware, APTs, and other attack vectors.
- Proficient in using threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and other cybersecurity technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns.
