Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Intern at Incyte, you will assist in the month-end close process, learn about SOX controls, and conduct company analysis. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in monthly close process by recording monthly accruals, reconciling accounts, and reviewing data for completeness and accuracy
  • Preparing monthly reporting packages
  • Verifying inventory movements and partnering with Tech Ops to streamline and improve the inventory subledger reconciliations vs third-party stock files
  • Enhancing and automating purchase price variance process
  • Performing data analysis and implementing quality enhancements
  • Assisting with the annual physical stock counts
  • Participating in the annual standard cost revaluation exercise
  • Preparing SOX control and maintaining ongoing support documentation

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be in the process of completing a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Finance or a related field
  • Strong accounting knowledge; experience with inventory control a plus
  • Advanced Excel and data mining skills
  • Experience with SAP a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both English and French
  • A business partnering mindset
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
