Job Description

The Global Head of Engineering is responsible for providing matrix leadership of the engineering and maintenance function globally. This includes ensuring the organization is correctly resourced and appropriately qualified and experienced to deliver its objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing governance for the capital investment program, ensuring all investment projects are approved with high-quality business cases and cost/time estimates.
  • Working closely with the Head of Strategic Growth to ensure larger growth investments run alongside the rest of the investment program in an integrated and synergistic manner.
  • Supporting the implementation of new manufacturing technologies into existing plants.

Your profile should include:

  • >10 years of experience in engineering and maintenance in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Strong GMP knowledge with technical expertise and understanding of manufacturing equipment in Drug Substance and/or Drug Product manufacturing.
  • Broad leadership experience managing capital projects of up to 10-20mCHF and/or large maintenance organizations.
