We are seeking a highly skilled Strategy Consultant to join our team at Urbandesignlab.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a master's degree in disaster risk management, development, public finance, business administration, public policy, urban planning, management, or a related field.
Alternatively, a first-level degree with 2 additional years of experience in the relevant field is also acceptable.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in post-disaster recovery, development, finance, public finance/administration, and disaster risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a training module and checklist for Pre-Disaster Recovery Preparedness (PDRP).
- Create training curricula, practical exercises, and identify relevant case studies.
- Support written outputs, meetings, and conferences.
- Collaborate with IRP Secretariat, Steering Committee, UNDRR regional offices, and GETI.
- Prepare and deliver training programs.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience in training, pre-disaster recovery planning, capacity building, and communications is desirable.
Experience in research on disaster risk reduction topics is also desirable.
