As a Maritime Procurement Professional, you will be responsible for optimizing supply chains, securing reliable freight services, and building strong partnerships globally.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Up to 5 years of experience in ocean freight procurement
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping, or Procurement
  • Strong knowledge of shipping processes, Incoterms, and freight budget management

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consolidating import and export demand plans across business units
  • Negotiating favorable spot buying rates
  • Minimizing detention and demurrage costs by securing discounts for idle containers
  • Optimizing space utilization on various freight contracts
  • Tracking and reporting on freight trends, service levels, and cost-saving measures
