Your RoleAs a Network Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be an experienced engineer shaping our networking landscape and contributing to our infrastructure department.
We provide all network-related services from Switzerland to our group entities globally, offering a diverse and international work environment.
You will work on both "run the bank" and "change the bank" areas, providing continuous operative support to our infrastructure based on state-of-the-art solutions and technologies.
Responsibilities- Operate the global network environment, ensuring stable operation and solving network-related issues.
- Implement solutions in the network area as technical responsible and solution architect.
- Document network services, including network design and operational manuals.
- Support the on-call organization as a member.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or completed apprenticeship.
- Passed IT network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, CCSE, etc.).
- 5 years of practical experience in networking security area (routing, switching, firewall, proxy, DNS).
- Experience with ITIL methodologies and knowledge in Linux and shell scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to weigh problems and set priorities.
- Fluency in English, with German fluency a plus.
- Willingness to travel (5-10%).
