About the Role:
Careers@Gov is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Executive Architect to join our team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for carrying out schematic design proposals and coordination management of enhancement works for existing MRT station buildings and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement architectural design concepts and proposals for MRT station enhancement works
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
- Prepare and present tender specifications, feasibility studies, and documentation
- Review and provide feedback on developer's building plan submissions and contractor's shop drawings
- Contribute to the development of quality architectural design and a sustainable transport environment
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, preferably recognized by the Board of Architects, Singapore
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in architectural design and practice
- Good knowledge of BIM, CAD software (incl. AutoCAD, Sketchup, micro station and Revit) and functional drafting capability
- Able to communicate ideas and concepts well via writing and speaking
- Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Interest in design and problem-solving
- Experience in rail projects will be an advantage
- Able to multi-task and with good time management skills
