FamilEA's research aims to understand the complexities of family transformation in East Africa, with a focus on policy implications. The postdoctoral fellow will engage with our qualitative-quantitative survey data, analyzing the relationships between legal/policy dispositions and social realities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing FamilEA's survey data and identifying key factors influencing family transformation in East Africa
- Engaging with policy stakeholders and formulating evidence-based recommendations for improving public policies and laws affecting families
- Collaborating with the FamilEA team to advance the project's practical objectives
Requirements:
- A doctoral degree in political science or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to relocate to Geneva and conduct fieldwork in Kenya and Uganda
