Our Swiss site in Cham is looking for a talented VAT Tax Analyst to report to the Indirect Tax Lead and contribute to VAT declarations in Europe & UK, ensuring legal compliance and data accuracy.

The Job Description

  1. Reconcile the VAT Balance Sheet in several legal entities across Europe/UK.
  2. Coordinate with local VAT agents and tax authorities to guarantee compliance.
  3. Prepare timely and accurate VAT declarations and Intrastat reporting.
  4. Support the Indirect Tax Lead in ensuring SOX compliance for the internal control system and external auditors.
  5. Support the Finance Team in maintaining SOP's.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Accounting or finance degree, with at least 3 years of experience in similar roles in an international environment.
  • Expertise on VAT declarations in different legislations and analytical skills to understand numbers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and an ERP system (JDE or Qlik).
  • Fluent in English (both oral and written). Knowledge of EU-VAT transactions is an advantage.
