Senior CSV Validation Team Lead

As a Team Lead CSV Biologics at Lonza, you will play a crucial role in driving the excellence of the CSV aspects within your area. With a strong technical background in bioprocesses, GMP, and biopharma productions computerized systems, you will lead a team of CSV engineers on several projects, ensuring the highest quality and compliance standards are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of CSV experts with full responsibility for human resource management, including qualification, development, coaching, hiring, pay decisions, and discipline issues.
  • Setting up and managing a local group of CSV experts on CSV activities linked to biologics facilities, providing support to the future operations user during initial and periodic validation.
  • Working with your team in capital investment projects, strengthening the respective operations teams with expert knowledge on CSV.
  • Participating in planning the CSV activities to ensure correct operations and resources are included for each project step, facilitating all key stakeholders during the CSV activities.
  • Securing operations input to CSV, defining and standardizing the CSV approach.
  • Creating and managing a trust with suppliers that will support CSV operations.
  • Supporting the implementation of LONZA culture via openness for change and new ideas, cooperative teamwork, and continuous improvement – even outside the own area of responsibility.

Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a technical school or university in a technical field.
  • Extensive experience in Computerized System Validation (CSV) in a biotech-related environment.
  • Strong experience in DeltaV, KNEAT, and project management.
  • Strong leadership skills, team orientation, and ability to communicate internally and externally at higher levels, with a strong business understanding.
  • Fluent in English, with German language skills being advantageous.
