Credit Controller

We are looking for a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team in Lausanne, Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our company's credit and cash flow, ensuring timely payments from customers and minimizing bad debt.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Contacting customers to speed-up collection and achieve related targets.
2. Generating monthly statements and dunning letters.
3. Defining monthly collection target together with manager.
4. Preparing clean remittance advice for cash application for each payment.
5. Analysing new and active customers' situation to prevent and reduce credit risk.
6. Setting up and maintaining customer credit limits.
7. Managing credit holds for overdue accounts.
8. Establishing credit insurance where appropriate.
9. Reporting and others:
   1. In collaboration with the Sales teams, managing the clearing of Debit Memos relating to customer deductions, ensuring their validity and follow up daily invoice.
   2. Submitting monthly bad debt provision calculations and making recommendations.
   3. Preparing and maintaining accruals liaising with GL, based on agreed customer conditions.
   4. Preparing regular reports on Aging, DSO and open items in AR balance.
   5. Giving support on AR Month-End closing related duties and providing all necessary data to GL.
   6. Acting as a back-up for other members of the team and other markets/clients.
   7. Assisting with ad hoc projects as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Financial or administrative background with credit control experience in an international FMCG or equivalent.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge (Excel).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), French a plus.
