We are currently seeking several Manufacturing Specialists to join our team in Visp due to growth at our Ibex facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing operational activities in assigned manufacturing projects, ensuring compliance with cGMP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manufacturing activities in Upstream Processing or Downstream Processing areas according to cGMP guidelines
  • Evaluate test results, resolve issues, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
  • Support preparation of SHE (Safety, Health, Environment), EM (Environmental Monitoring), operation, and cleaning risk assessments
  • Review production documentation and work on deviations, change requests, and CAPAs
  • Engage in Capital investment projects for building and commissioning new manufacturing units

Requirements:

  • Completed chemical or biopharmaceutical education or corresponding training qualification
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemical Engineering, or related fields (an advantage)
  • Sound knowledge of biotechnological processes, including microbial and/or mammalian cultivation or protein purification
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Fluency in English required; fluency in German considered a plus
  • Availability to work in a 4-shift system
