We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled engineer to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY LTD. As a Dielectric Withstand Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of high voltage circuit breakers and gas insulated switchgear.

Main Responsibilities

* Support project teams in the design and development of high voltage circuit breakers and gas insulated switchgear
* Conduct electric field simulations and optimize dielectric design
* Analyze and evaluate measurement data and breakdown database maintenance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution

Requirements

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* Above average proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or Matlab
* Knowledge in High-Voltage Engineering is advantageous
* Fluency in written and spoken English
* Willingness to execute hands-on work in the laboratory
* Ability to work in a team, as well as willingness to handle responsibilities independently
